Synopsis

Hideki noticed them first: a pair embraced on the sidewalk, a casual intimacy that seemed out of place. The next day, neither Shinbo nor Ms. Shimizu were in class. A wave of unease rippled through the student body, culminating in the unexpected arrangement of Sumomo under Hideki’s care. A question hung unspoken in the air – what was happening between them? And could it be that Ms. Shimizu, so composed and proper, was already bound by a different commitment?
