Synopsis

The day of the Master and Queen challenger finals had arrived. Dr. Harada and Arata were vying for the opportunity to challenge the Master, while Inokuma and Megumu would compete for a chance to challenge the Queen. Harada confided in Arata that he had once played against Arata's grandfather, the Eternal Master Wataya Hajime, and voiced his delight at sharing the art of karuta with Arata. At last, a passionate contest spanning generations was about to unfold.
