Synopsis

Kanade has recently joined the karuta club, becoming its third member, though Chihaya’s efforts to find new recruits continue. Her first target is Komano Tsutomu, the second-brightest student in their year, and a classmate of hers. She affectionately calls him Desktomu-kun. Yet, he dismisses karuta as mere amusement, preferring to dedicate his time to his studies. Chihaya persists, urging him to play a game, and practically leads him by the arm towards the clubroom.
