Synopsis

News of his grandfather's illness prompts Arata to journey back to Fukui with his family. The three hold a shared belief: that their continued practice of karuta will somehow bring them together again. Chihaya, now a high school student, has entered a tournament with the aim of qualifying her class for the top tier, and Taichi offers to help her establish a karuta club. Witnessing Chihaya's newfound joy, Taichi finds himself unexpectedly drawn in.
