Synopsis

Ninety years separated two profoundly different calamities that struck the heart of Chicago’s Loop. The first was the Iroquois Theatre Fire of 1903, the deadliest building fire in American history. Decades later, in 1992, the Great Loop Flood inundated downtown buildings as the Chicago River inexplicably overflowed, prompting a search for answers within the city's forgotten network of tunnels.
