Synopsis

The adolescent patient, gripped by abdominal pain, steadfastly declined any medication offered. Elsewhere, Dr. Halstead found himself unexpectedly drawn back to echoes of his past while tending to a patient: a woman in advanced pregnancy desperately fighting the onset of labor. Meanwhile, Dr. Rhodes navigated the familiar and unwelcome currents of familial conflict, seeking only to keep a distance.
