Synopsis

News of Billy and Diane’s engagement spread through the hospital, eliciting a varied response. Jack returned from his vacation with unexpected good fortune and a conviction that he had finally found his lucky streak. Kate, however, drew the displeasure of some colleagues when a reporter shadowed her movements within the building. Meanwhile, Jack was entrusted with the extraordinarily delicate task of performing surgery on an infant with a vulnerable, exposed spinal cord.
