I had high hopes for this show, especially given my interest in the USSR and my own background growing up in what used to be part of its sphere of influence. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The pacing felt off; certain scenes were unnecessarily prolonged, prompting me to skip ahead at times—like that whole sequence involving going down to open a valve, which seemed to take about five minutes. I also found myself wanting more setup—it began precisely when things went wrong, and I believe some additional background information would have been beneficial. I don’t think it's worth recommending.
