Synopsis

Peyton sought Tom’s scan in exchange for creatures from Mipedia, but Tom refused. A shadow of distrust lingered in his voice, a consequence of the events involving Reggie and Mudeenu. He maintained that beings from the Overworld were superior. Peyton, undeterred, led him to the Mipedian desert. It was there, under the threat of an attack by Slruhk, a malevolent scorpioid Overworlder, that Tom’s perspective began to shift.
