The animation is gorgeous, the action sequences are well-done, and the characters stand out as distinctive and worth remembering. I was particularly impressed with the sound design and musical score; it feels like a very polished project overall. The show manages to shift between serious and humorous moments smoothly, maintaining its emotional weight each time. What made me want to learn more were the interesting personalities of the characters. There are plenty of surprising developments that keep you guessing, although I get the sense that the main plot hasn't truly begun unfolding.
