Synopsis

She was a red blood cell, and the thought of being attacked by bacteria twice in a single day was unthinkable. Yet, as she journeyed toward the nasal cavity, another threat emerged. A germ, to be precise – Staphylococcus Aureus. Usually confined to the skin and pores, this particular strain seemed to harbor a hidden agenda. A masked monocyte, a fellow member of the white blood cell family and an immune cell, was her only hope. What could this bacterium possibly be planning?
