Synopsis

Red Blood Cells AA2153 and AC1677 are settling into their routines, even finding room for levity during their periods of rest. They journey to the kidneys to cleanse themselves of the residue of their work, encountering the Glomeruli who perform their silent filtration. A young Glomerulus cautions the Red Blood Cell to exercise care when approaching the ureter. Arriving at the efferent arteriole, the Red Blood Cells detect a troubling sound – a blockage in the nearby ureter.
