Synopsis

Ernest arrived for his scheduled surgery only to discover it had been cancelled due to a shortage of beds. Louise immediately began working to secure a bed for him, but her efforts were soon thwarted when another, more urgent patient claimed it. Meanwhile, Connie was unexpectedly attacked on a flight of stairs by an unknown assailant, and Rash sought Gem's counsel in deciding between a career in pediatrics and cardiology.
