Synopsis

The inexplicable sealing off of a crime scene following a car bombing throws Castle and Beckett into a double mystery. They must determine the identity of the victim’s killer – a government whistleblower – and unravel the reason behind the federal agents' aggressive attempt to commandeer the investigation. The situation becomes far more complex when they uncover evidence suggesting the victim wasn't killed by an explosion, but by a missile fired from a military drone.
