Synopsis

In New York, investigating the fatal shooting of her former partner, Detective Beckett grows convinced the suspect has fled to Los Angeles. Disregarding orders, she journeys to L.A., operating outside protocol to hunt down the killer, with Castle unexpectedly joining her. As they delve into the perpetrator's motives, a trail emerges, stretching from a Hollywood rooftop pool to the shores of Santa Monica.
