Synopsis

During a late-night appearance on a talk show to promote his book, *Heat Wave*, the legendary host Bobby Mann leans toward his guest, Castle, during a commercial break and whispers, "They want me dead." Later that night, Mann dies of what appears to be natural causes. Haunted by the cryptic warning, Castle must convince Detective Beckett that something more sinister is at play. As the investigation unfolds, Castle finds himself drawn to a captivating Hollywood actress, who was the other guest on
