Synopsis

With the start of a new season, Castle finds himself caught between the desire to mend his fractured relationship with Beckett and the pressure of completing his forthcoming bestseller, *Heat Wave*. Yet fate, or perhaps necessity, draws them back together when they are compelled to investigate the perplexing death of a man discovered lifeless, entangled in the branches of a tree.
