Synopsis

A salaryman named Kusano held court, boasting of his own generosity. His colleague Yamanashi listened with a wry smile, finding the display tiresome. But Kotani, seated at the counter, was consumed by fury. He was one of those who had suffered through Kusano’s self-aggrandizing tales, and he remained, listening, simmering with resentment. The scene unfolded in the izakaya where Conan, Ran, and Kogoro were sharing a meal, a backdrop to Kusano's loud pronouncements of kindness.
