Synopsis

In a quiet village, the Okuhoriyama Festival was underway, yet Takenoie, a traditional house cafe, stood empty within. Conan and his companions enjoyed the festival's offerings – puffed rice and falconry – when Genichi Takehara, the cafe's owner, appeared, gravely wounded. He had been shot, and soon after, he succumbed to his injuries before their eyes. Kogoro, observing the scene, speculated that the tragedy stemmed from a sudden shock, perhaps caused by a hawk.
