Synopsis

Junko Hirose was arrested for the murder of Masaru Katsui, a crime committed in Tonkoro City. She confessed to the killing, claiming she had been blackmailed by Katsui and snapped under the pressure. However, Kogoro Mori had placed Junko at a location in Beika City at the time of the murder. Given the hour-long distance between the two cities, Kogoro’s testimony presented a significant challenge to the prosecution's case. Inspector Megure, taking this into account, ultimately released Junko
