Synopsis

Misaki Yanai, a longtime friend of Ran and Sonoko from middle school, asked Kogoro to reinvestigate the death of her older sister, Nagisa. Misaki was convinced that Nagisa had been murdered, not that she had taken her own life. Kogoro contacted Inspector Megure, who confirmed that the initial ruling was indeed suicide, a revelation that brought Misaki to tears.
