Synopsis

His editor met Manda with a request for the manuscript, and Manda assured him it was nearly finished. The editor then waited in the hotel hallway. Manda, disguised, slipped away and went to Haramoto's house, the man who had been ghostwriting for him. Haramoto handed over the script, and spoke of a new mystery he intended to reveal once Manda introduced him to the proper contacts. Manda killed Haramoto with a vase, taking the detective story with him before returning to his room.
