Synopsis

The roar of the engine ended abruptly with a sickening crunch. A motorcycle lay twisted on the pavement just outside Mouri's detective agency, a grim testament to a violent impact. The rider was gone, lifeless amongst the wreckage. A battered suitcase lay nearby, its contents spilling out – a substantial sum of three hundred thousand yen. Tucked within the cash was a note, its message stark and unsettling: a ransom drop.
