Synopsis

Kogoro, Ran, and Conan received an invitation to a ceremony marking the completion of a ropeway traversing the mountainside, constructed around a colossal statue of the goddess by Doumouto Guze. They discovered whispers of a curse, attributed to the goddess’s displeasure, and Kogoro had been invited specifically to dispel the rumors. Following the ropeway's inaugural run, Doumouto, who had vanished from the car, was later found deceased, lying upon the goddess’s outstretched hand.
