Synopsis

Kogoro luxuriated in a high-end hotel suite. Following dinner, he succumbed to the effects of alcohol and vanished. A search ensued. Eri’s call to his mobile phone led her to hear the device ringing from within Ritsuko’s room. She entered, the chain lock securing the door, only to discover Ritsuko dead, strangled. The revelation was compounded by Kogoro’s sudden appearance from the bed, a sight that stunned all present.
