Synopsis

The flickering television screen displayed a news report: Butsumaru Daijiro, victim of a traffic accident, had vanished. Mori Fusae, the sole witness to the crash, had already provided the police with Butsumaru’s driver’s license. Yet, Inukai Hajime, the driver responsible, had disappeared after promising to escort Butsumaru to the hospital. As the news unfolded, the Mori Detective Agency received a phone call from Emiko, Butsumaru's wife. Desperate, she enlisted Kogoro’s help, pleading for him
