Synopsis

Even though he’d pledged to Danny that he would refrain from pursuing it, Baron von Vordenberg betrayed his intent to destroy the anglerfish god. This prompted Mattie to lash out at him, an attack only restrained by Danny, which escalated into a struggle between them. Ultimately, Danny seized the locket nestled around her neck and crushed it beneath his heel – her sole vulnerability.
