Synopsis

Word reached Laura that Mattie and Carmilla intended to consume the blood of the malevolent demigod dwelling within the crater—a ritual meant to grant them the strength needed to confront Baron von Vordenberg and his army. Determined to prevent this, she intervened, but a bitter dispute erupted over her idealistic stance. Mattie subsequently vanished, necessitating that Laura assemble the others in a search for her.
