Synopsis

Laura found herself with Lola Perry, her floor don, and Perry’s acquaintance, S. LaFontaine, to talk about the unsettling sight of blood that had spilled from Carmilla's milk container. Her desire was clear: she wanted Carmilla gone. Perry, however, attempted to reassure her, suggesting that Betty would likely reappear presently, as had all the other girls who had vanished previously.
