Synopsis

Though LaFontaine remained without any memory of the night, Laura, Carmilla, and Perry attempted to reconstruct the sequence of events and discern their cause. Remarkably, LaFontaine’s phone had captured an audio recording that revealed a fragment of what transpired; from this, they were able to determine that it was all connected to an ancient, ritualistic observance dedicated to Lophiiformes, planned to culminate under the new moon next Friday.
