Synopsis

Carmilla recounted to Laura the tale of her transformation and subsequent existence as a vampire, at which point Laura impulsively decided to embellish the narrative with a performance using sock puppets. Initially, this proved charmingly effective when recounting adventures from centuries past. However, the playful interlude faded into sadness as Carmilla described the tragedy that befell her true love, leading her to defy the authority of her "mother"—a woman Laura herself had previously encou
