Synopsis

The tournament's opening match pits Japan against Italy, and a palpable tension hangs in the air. Team Japan is still stung by Italy's dismissive remarks preceding their cancelled practice game. Yet, with the responsibility of captaincy bestowed upon him by Matsuyama, Tsubasa meets the challenge. Though Italy has him tightly marked, he answers with his customary tenacity.
