Synopsis

The rhythm of Candy’s days is marked by the arrival of Mr. Mathieu, the letter carrier, whom she persistently seeks out for mail from Annie. Then, a letter arrives, penned by Annie under the weight of her adoptive parents' expectations – a farewell. Overcome with sorrow, Annie retreats to the hill and encounters a young man dressed in Scottish attire. He offers her solace, and she names him her “prince of the hill.”
