Synopsis

On the voyage to England, Candy reveals a generous spirit. She offers food to a seagull and then champions the captain's desire to alter course and rescue those stranded at sea, even as the influential passengers object. Her persistence and inherent kindness sway their opposition, and a celebration is arranged in the captain's honor for his courageous act. Standing at the rail, she notices a young man who bears a striking resemblance to Anthony.
