Synopsis

Candy soon realized that Garcia, her pilot, possessed a volatile temper. A meager family, also bound for Mexico, was crammed into the cart. She left briefly to procure milk for the infant, then, with a quiet resolve, "borrowed" the cart to take him to the nearest town for medical attention. To cover the doctor's fee, she was forced to sell her rosebush, and only after that was paid did the family finally depart.
