Synopsis

Buddy baked a cake for his niece, a celebration of her first-place victory in a writing contest. He hoped it would bring her a little joy, even as she soared through the sky. He was a skydiver, after all, and sometimes the most unexpected things – like a cake mid-air – seemed perfectly natural. He imagined her delight, a sweet reward for her talent, a tangible symbol of his pride. It wasn't every day one could share a slice with someone who had conquered words and gravity.
