Synopsis

The Fourteenth Precinct is tasked with providing security for the city's annual marathon. A runner, one of the few who is white, hails from South Africa and has received death threats should she participate. Cagney and Lacey are assigned to dissuade her from competing; should they fail, their duty shifts to ensuring her safety.
