Synopsis

The accusation hung heavy: a deaf girl, suspected of murder. The very notion seemed impossible. Could such a profound disability be the instrument of such a heinous act? Then, a disheveled David Keeler appeared at her door, reeking of alcohol and desperation, pleading for forgiveness. She hadn't seen him since "The Cost of Living," though he had left a litany of messages on her answering machine.
