Synopsis

Allison Hock’s story finds its resonance in the familiar. The Laceys experience a burglary, forcing Mary Beth to confront Detective Dupnick from Queens – a situation made all the more ironic by her own disregard for the very safety measures she routinely advises others to take. Meanwhile, Cagney navigates the glittering atmosphere of the Emerald Ball, all while grappling with the tragic death of a high school athlete, a casualty of steroid abuse.
