Synopsis

Lacey and Cagney accompany a young Latina woman to an abortion clinic, concerned for her safety amidst the hostile crowd of protestors. The situation escalates when the clinic is firebombed, resulting in a fatality – a case now classified as murder. Upon identifying the perpetrator, Lacey observes that, given the woman’s pregnancy, the attack is tantamount to infanticide. This episode proved deeply divisive, and was not broadcast by all television stations.
