Synopsis

Early in the episode, Cagney encounters a villainous character. Undeterred, she solves the case from her hospital bed – a necessity, as Mary Beth has been unexpectedly paired with a thoroughly unremarkable individual. In a curious reversal of roles, Mary Beth finds herself the object of attention while the man is consumed solely with the urgency of returning home.
