Synopsis

Following the recent death of her prosperous husband, Judith Perle found herself attracting considerable attention amongst the gentlemen of Shrewsbury. However, this burgeoning interest was abruptly shadowed by tragedy: both a monk and one of her admirers were discovered dead.
