Synopsis

CID officers observed a man pursuing another through the streets. The pursuer stated he’d been prompted to action by the sound of a gunshot, followed by the fleeing of the other man. Subsequent investigation revealed the truth: a houseworker had been shot while attempting to thwart the theft of a 50 lakh rupee necklace from a couple's residence. The man now in custody, seen fleeing the scene, remains a suspect; however, lacking forensic evidence, his guilt cannot be definitively proven.
