In the nascent stages of a complex investigation involving a string of thefts, Booster received news from his family. The annual bunzel harvest was at hand – the primary crop of Jo-Ad, a plant resembling eggplant. Booster, however, felt a greater obligation to his duties as a Space Ranger.
