Synopsis

Bull mounts a defense for Ralph Kelly, Taylor’s brother-in-law and a prison guard accused of manslaughter in the drowning deaths of two inmates during a hurricane. Throughout the trial, Bull seeks to persuade the jury that his client’s decision to abandon his post and evacuate his family was an attempt to avert a greater calamity.
