Synopsis

When Dr. Donovan Benanti, a psychologist, finds himself the target of a malpractice suit following a patient's fatal outburst, Bull takes him on as a client. As the therapist grapples with the potential ramifications of a trial loss – specifically, the possibility of establishing a damaging precedent regarding doctor-patient confidentiality – Bull seeks to persuade the jury that clinicians are not directly accountable for the actions of those they treat.
