However, what’s presented is simply a predictable, standard police procedural designed specifically for television. It seems the presence of David Tennant elevates it to being considered a "stunning masterpiece" by some. I struggle to recall a time when audiences have reacted so enthusiastically to someone who appears rather unremarkable. It's as if people are misled into thinking that attractive visuals automatically equate to quality. That’s simply not how television works. Don’t be fooled by the use of slow motion and flashy camera techniques. Above all, there isn’t anything fresh or original here. The concept has been done countless times before in murder mystery shows. Expanding it into a longer “netflix” series doesn't alter its fundamental nature.
