I recently discovered this unexpectedly humorous series, and I understand now why it didn’t gain wider popularity. The premise—alien insects infiltrating American politics—is inherently amusing, but the execution adds layers that weren't really necessary. Furthermore, its release coincided with significant shifts in the political landscape; consequently, the scenarios depicted feel somewhat mild compared to current events. Still, it offers a pleasant reminder of an earlier, less complicated era. There are several instances where I genuinely laughed out loud. Tony Shalhoub is particularly memorable and stands out among the cast. It’s certainly worth checking out.
