Synopsis

Alden worked in a meatpacking plant, sacrificing for his band. He encouraged Sharon to seek employment in the office, and she reluctantly agreed. But the job transformed her; she became a vegetarian and eventually resigned, disturbed by the sounds emanating from the slaughterhouse next door.
