Synopsis

Born with a constellation of uncommon illnesses, one woman bears the mark of reconstructive surgery—an ear shaped but unable to convey sound. Elsewhere, a single mother’s cosmetic procedure left her with unforeseen complications. And in another case, a patient has requested that surgeons alter her breasts, desiring an appearance more overtly artificial.
